Logo Design is very crucial to the business Image. Logos is the first impression that a potential client gets of the business. Therefore the aim of the project was to select a Fast Moving Consumer Goods product and create a new unique brand name for this object. Create a new logo for this brand name that reflects and visualises the essential feature of this object and the new given name. The new band name and logo must empathise with the target market.

Advertising Design

The aim of the project was to Design and develop a A4 Poster (210mm x 297mm) and a complimenting one-sided DL flyer (99mm x 210mm) using the text provided, source original imagery that doesn’t infringe copyright to use in both designs, each design must be complimented the other.

Advertising Design

Description:

Purpose of this project was to design and produce an advertising campaign for Samuel Beckett’s play ‘Waiting for Godot’. It was required to design ONE landscape billboard advert 1:5 scale (1200mm x 600mm) and ONE Adshel advert portrait (1010mm x 1520mm) both adverts should be setup to be pre-flight print ready with a 5mm bleed and CMYK colour specification. All imagery used must be of original source. Brief permitted to use photography, illustration and typography to achieve the final design.

Description:

Developed using HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript, the images were edited in Photoshop. The aim of this project was to design and produce a website that is at least 3 pages in content for the DESIGNER BEN BOS. The content copy for the site was provided by the client (lecturer). The website has a gallery section and an about page. The website interface is smooth and simple

Object Website

Description:

The intention of this project was to design and produce a website about selected an artefact of Cultural interest. The brief of the project restricted it to use all images of original imagery. The chosen artefact for this project was Roman Colosseum. I recently was on holiday in Rome and had lots of images of many places in Rome including Colosseum. It was a web design project for the Web Design module in my Higher Diploma

Job Interview

Description:

This was a website created in Flash using ActionScript 3.0 in which we had to film and edit a mini video series. The website was designed to follow the interactive video narrative on the job interview topic. The concept had to be communicated with a minimum of 20 x 30 sec. video clips. It had to display character information and have a video player so the series could be watched online.

Virtual @-Postcards

Description:

The aim of the project was to design a postcard editing, creation and distribution website. The user can choose the background by browsing through the categories of images, or upload any image to position it in the background; type any postcard message and attach the text to that postcard; and send it to the receiver email. It should attract users who wish to create the individual postcard on line and can help to draw people together.

Culture Pot

Description:

The aim of the project was to Develop working prototypes from research done by psychology students. Developing was broken into 3 parts: Requirements, Interface Design and simple website prototype; Implement Web service, further functionality; X factor functionality. the goal was to create an interactive website whereby individuals from different countries around the world could go online and have access to large amounts of information on different aspects of various cultures.

Newspaper Website

Description:

The aim of this project was to redesign the way news is read on the internet. The brief of the project restricted it to being a text-only design. The Newspaper.com was a conceptual web design project to design a typographic based news site, where text articles are the only content. It was a web design project for the Advanced Web Design module in my honours degree which tested my skills as a designer and required deep levels of research into traditional news media, usability on the web and web semantics.
